What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: quote requests (name, email, phone, address/town, system details), listing claims, and contact messages. The grant checker runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to us.

No tracking

We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

How we use it

• To respond to you and help arrange installer quotes.
• Sharing with installers. If you tick the sharing box on the quote form, we send your name, email, phone, property address/town and project details to up to 3 installers on Suffolk County's approved list (your preferred installer first, if they take requests through this site), so they can contact you by phone or email about quotes for your project. We don't share quote requests with anyone else.
• Installers who receive requests may pay us a referral fee. Homeowners never pay us anything.
• Installers who receive your request handle your information under their own privacy practices. To stop hearing from an installer, tell them directly, or contact us and we'll pass it on.
• We don't sell your information to data brokers or advertisers.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored with Cloudflare and emailed to the site operator (and, for quote requests you agreed to share, to up to 3 installers) via our email provider (Resend). Each request includes a timestamp and basic technical info (like approximate country) for spam prevention.

Retention and your choices

We keep requests for up to 24 months, then delete them. To access or delete your data, or withdraw consent, use the contact form.
